The Master of Science in Law (MSL) degree at Woodbury Institute of Champlain College helps non-lawyers gain legal knowledge to increase their effectiveness and advance their careers. In a business and professional climate highly regulated and rich in legal dimensions, the law is so important that everyone should understand it. Woodbury's MSL degree helps professionals – managers, human resource workers, program directors, health professionals, policy makers and advocates – develop the skills to work confidently with the law and lawyers, and prevent needless litigation. The MSL also has special value for foreign attorneys and foreign business executives who wish to understand the American legal system and work with it effectively, and for paralegals seeking advanced training along with an advanced degree. Upon completion of the core courses, you may select from one of three concentration areas: Managerial Law, Human Resources Law or Health Law. Each concentration area provides in-depth knowledge of law pertaining to a specific industry or area of expertise. Woodbury Institute of Champlain College is included in the accreditation of Champlain College. Champlain College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Inc., through its Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. |
